Rubén, Bryan, and Aday Medina represent the third generation to lead Zulay Bakery and Pastry Shop, a family business founded in 1937 in Fuencaliente, La Palma, by their great-grandfather, Eladio Santos. With over 80 years of history, they have transformed the original small bakery into a company recognized throughout the archipelago, with a presence in La Palma and Tenerife.Their approach combines artisanal tradition with innovation, using local ingredients such as yellow sweet potatoes, Puntagorda almonds, and Fuencaliente Malvasia in their creations. This commitment to local produce and quality has earned them recognition such as the DIR Bakery Star, which recognizes the best bakeries in the country.
